The TB Series Copperplate Machine is a versatile and efficient equipment designed for high-precision copperplate printing tasks. The lineup includes a bunch of different models—the TB-65, TB-80, TB-100, TB-120, and TB-140—so you can easily pick a size that actually matches the scale of your shop operations. Every single model in the series features a thick, chrome-plated steel bed table that handles daily wear and shrugs off rust without throwing your registration out of whack over time. Depending on the machine you go with, the bed sizes cover everything from a compact 122 × 65 cm up to a massive 240 × 140 cm layout, making them a great fit for a wide range of commercial and artistic projects. We designed each configuration to drop right into your existing print room routine, giving you a dependable, accurate setup that just handles professional printing demands without a hitch.
Advantages
1. Heavy-duty build that can take a beating
Chrome-plated steel bed. The main printing table is coated in chromium, so it shrugs off scratches, rust, and everyday workshop wear. It gives you a dead-flat surface to run your plates on and saves you from spending your weekends doing maintenance.
Massive frame keeps it planted. Depending on which model you look at, these presses weigh anywhere from 310 kg to a whopping 1,400 kg. All that iron means the machine isn't going to rock, wobble, or vibrate when you're leaning into a heavy pull, keeping your registration tight.
2. A size for every studio layout
From bench versions to massive beds. The lineup covers a lot of ground, running from the smaller TB-65 right up to the massive TB-140. You can easily pick a configuration that actually fits the scale of the prints you make.
Adjustable to your projects. The printing widths and bed lengths change across the series, so you get plenty of options to match your specific style of printmaking without buying more machine than you need.
3. Smooth mechanical output
Balanced gear reduction. With a 5.2:1 ratio on the TB-65 and a 5.8:1 setup on the bigger models, the drive balances your rolling speed and torque nicely. The bed moves smoothly under the roller without jumping, which spares the gears from extra stress.
Thick rollers for clean transfers. The rollers range from 14 cm to 27 cm in diameter depending on the machine. They squeeze down evenly across the plate, pulling sharp, crisp details out of your lines onto the paper.
Key Features
1. Well-made printing tables
Chromium surface treatment. The top plate is slick and uniform, which is exactly what you want for consistent ink transfer. It helps capture fine details on your paper and prevents the sheets from warping or sliding around mid-pull.
Cleans up in a couple of minutes. Ink and oils don't stick to the chrome very well, so wiping down the bed at the end of a shift is totally hassle-free instead of a major scrubbing chore.
2. Practical shop footprint
Doesn't hog the whole room. The exterior dimensions range from 122 × 90 × 122.5 cm up to 270 × 167 × 133 cm. They are shaped reasonably tight for how much weight they carry, letting you tuck them into a standard studio corner.
Planted but manageable. The weight distribution is set up to keep the center of gravity low. It stays rock-solid while you work, but if you eventually have to rearrange your shop layout, a standard engine hoist or forklift can handle it.
3. Accurate roller mechanics
Sized to match the bed. We tailored the roller diameters to the specific width of each machine so you don't get bowing or flexing in the middle of a wide plate.
Uniform squeeze. The rollers apply level downward pressure from edge to edge, which cuts down on faded patches and keeps your prints uniform.
4. Direct drive transmission
Standardized 5.8:1 gear ratio. Most of the machines in this lineup use the same 5.8:1 reduction layout, keeping the crank or motor speed completely predictable.
Easy turning. The internal bearings and gear shapes cut down on mechanical drag, meaning you don't have to break your back turning the wheel even when the pressure is cranked way up.
